How we work together

What working with us actually feels like.

This is what really happens on a Cleared to Land/Scape project, in order, with what we need from you at each stage and what you walk away with.

Stages
Five
Quote turnaround
48 hours
Typical job
1 to 3 days
Site walk
Always free
Stage 01

The first call

A short phone call tells us most of what we need to know.

You tell us where the property is, roughly how much ground is involved and what you want it to look like when we leave. We ask about access, whether there are trees you want kept and what your timeline looks like. If mulching is not the right tool for what you described, we tell you on that call, not after a deposit has changed hands.

What we need from you

You give us the address, rough acreage and what the ground needs to do.

What you get

A straight answer on whether we are the right crew and a rough range.

  • Property location and rough acreage
  • What the ground needs to do afterward
  • Access, gates and anything buried
  • Your timeline and any hard deadlines

Stage 02

The site walk

Free inside fifty miles of Springfield, and the owner walks it with you.

We walk the property together and mark it out as we go. Stem density, tree size, wet spots, property pins, the septic field, the well head and anything you want kept. This is where the number gets real, because we are looking at the actual ground instead of guessing from a satellite photo.

What we need from you

Thirty minutes on site with you, or gate access if you cannot be there.

What you get

Keep trees flagged, wet ground noted and a measured scope.

  • Density and stem size measured on the ground
  • Keep trees flagged with you standing there
  • Wet ground and drainage noted before scheduling
  • Utilities, pins and setbacks confirmed

Stage 03

Written scope and fixed price

A written scope, not a verbal ballpark.

You get something in writing that says what gets cleared, what stays, what finish to expect and what it costs. It is a fixed price, not an hourly meter. If something turns up during the job that changes the scope, work stops and you approve the change before anything more gets billed.

What we need from you

A read through and a yes, or questions we will answer the same day.

What you get

A one page written scope with a fixed price attached to it.

  • Fixed price tied to a described finish
  • Clear line between what is included and what is not
  • Certificate of insurance on request
  • No change orders without your approval first

Stage 04

The work

Machines show up on the date we committed to.

We tell you before we arrive, and most residential jobs run one to three days. If you are not on site you get progress photos, and if weather or ground conditions change anything about the schedule, you get a phone call the moment we know, not a surprise the next morning.

What we need from you

Clear access for the machines and anything buried marked.

What you get

Crews on the date we committed to and photos as the work moves.

  • Start date you can plan a week around
  • Progress updates without you chasing them
  • Keep trees protected through every pass
  • Ruts and tracks raked back out as we go

Stage 05

Final walk and handoff

We walk it with you before the machines load out.

Anything that is not right gets fixed while we are still there, which is a lot easier for everyone than getting a crew back out next week. After that you get photos of the finished work and a straightforward invoice that matches the quote you already agreed to.

What we need from you

Thirty minutes to walk the finished ground with us.

What you get

Touch ups on the spot, finished photos and an invoice that matches.

  • Walkthrough with you before load out
  • Touch ups handled on the spot
  • Finished photos for your records
  • Invoice matches the written quote
Finished cleared and leveled yard after project completion

Three things you can count on.

You will not have to chase us
You get a committed start date and updates as the job moves. If weather pushes the schedule, you hear about it from us, not by calling around wondering where we are.
The price does not drift
The invoice matches the written scope you approved. Nothing gets added without a conversation first.
The property is left clean
Tracks raked back out, debris handled, gates closed behind us. That part is included in the job, not billed as an extra.
Questions

What people ask before booking.

Do not see your question here. Call and ask it directly. You will get an answer from the person who runs the machine, not a call center.

Start with a free site walk

Most residential properties run one to three days. Larger acreage or heavy timber can run a week or more. We give you a realistic window at quote time instead of an optimistic one.

No. Plenty of owners are at work or out of state. We send progress photos and we handle the final walk whenever you can meet us, or by video if you are far away.

Coastal Georgia ground gets soft fast. If working through it would rut your property badly, we stop and reschedule. You get a call the same day, not a no show.

We flag them together during the site walk and the operator works around them. The owner runs the machine on most jobs, so the person who agreed to keep that oak is the person at the controls.

On completion, after you have walked the finished work. Larger multi week projects can be split into progress payments agreed up front.
